Dr Prabhat Adhikari is a young physician, entrepreneur & social activist with a keen interest in medical IT & research. While doing his super-specialization in Infectious Diseases & Critical care in the USA, he realized the need of revolutionizing the existing health care system in third world countries by the use of innovative technologies. Together with his colleagues, he then formed a multi-national company named “Danphe Care” to develop an international level software with integrated HMS (Hospital Management System) , Telemedicine & EMR (Electronic Medical Record). And this came out to be a turning point in his career. He then decided to head back home & pursue his dream.

Currently, Dr Adhikari provides his clinical expertise in Nepal & beyond. He also works as a CEO of his company & spends some of his time in training young physicians, conducting clinical research & aspiring entrepreneurs. He is also fulfilling his social responsibilities through ASK Foundation (http://www.askfoundation.org/), a not-for-profit organization, dedicated to providing free access to health care for people in rural areas of Nepal through telemedicine, health camps & construction of hospitals, etc.
