Mr. Helmut Ehnes

Today we are happy to introduce Mr. Helmut Ehnes – a speaker on the Opening Session.

Mr. Ehnes is Chairman, International Social Security Association (ISSA) VISION ZERO Steering Committee.

He possesses more than 35 years of experience in the field of safety, health and wellbeing at work and total worker and enterprise safety and health. Mr. Helmut Ehnes took part in Development and Implementation of the New Global ISSA Strategy VISION ZERO for Safe, Healthy and Sustainable Mining including the 7 Golden Rules. 

He is also author of several publications, such as: 

ILO-Safe Work Publication “Improvement of national reporting, data collection and analysis of occupational accidents and diseases” (Geneva, 2011) and “ISSA Guidelines on Prevention” of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) (Geneva, 2013)
