Proactive Leading Indicators guide
Traditionally, in order to measure and evaluate the quality and success of the organization’s activities in the field of occupational health and safety, we pay attention to statistics on accidents at work and occupational diseases. However, these are reactive indicators that describe only past events and do not provide an opportunity to assess the current situation and the actions needed to be implemented in the future.
As an additional tool for every organization that follows the VISION ZERO principles, whether advanced or startup, large or small, local or international, the ISSA Association last year proposed proactive leading indicators.
We decided to find out if you have already used the “Proactive Leading Indicators” Guide on the assessment and management of occupational safety, health and well-being. And we ask all participants to take an active part and share their experience of using indicators to create a safe environment in the workplace.
