Mr. Jose Raul Gonzalez

We are happy to introduce Mr. Jose Raul Gonzalez – a speaker on the Opening Session.

Jose Raul Gonzalez is CEO of Progreso, the leading Central American company in cement and building materials founded in 1899. He joined the company 10 years ago. Before joining Progreso he was the CFO of CBC, the largest regional bottler of PepsiCola where he supervised the geographical international expansion of the company.

Mr. Gonzalez has a B.A. in business administration from University Francisco Marroquin – UFM in Guatemala and an MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Rochester, NY, USA.

He is the current president if the Interamerican Federation of Cement – FICEM.

He teaches finance and economics at his alma mater – UFM, where he serves in the board of trustees.

He lives in Guatemala city with his wife and four children.
